"Elephant Ear Cookies"
| Ingredients | | | 1 | cup | sugar | | | 1 | tablespoon | molasses | | | 1/2 | cup | shortening, melted | | | 1 | each | egg | | | 1/2 | cup | sour milk | | | 1/4 | teaspoon | salt | | | 1 | teaspoon | soda, dissolved in milk | | | 2 1/2 | cup | flour | | | 1 | teaspoon | cinnamon | | | 1/4 | teaspoon | nutmeg | | | 1 | teaspoon | vanilla | | | 1 | cup | raisins (chopped) | | | | | | Directions:
| Mix all ingredients in order given. Drop by teaspoonfuls on greased cookie sheet. Bake 10 minutes in 375 degree oven.
